Uphill Rush 5 is addictive!

Uphill Rush is an exciting and addicting game from Silvergames.com and A10.com.

The gameplay to Uphill Rush 5 is very smooth. Most of the graphics power goes into processing the screen slides. As players race through the maps, they should notice how smooth it really. This is probably due to the game's simplicity. Either way, it makes for an enjoyable experience.
Players can customize their character's clothing, skin color, gender, and color of the outfit. Players can also use the money they earn during races to unlock new vehicles. Each vehicle has its own statistics for speed and jumping.

When players first start, they will have no choice but to use the free outfit and vehicle given to them. Vehicles range from inner-tubes to dolphins, and even motorcycles. All this adds to the game's addictive quality. Players will want to unlock and use every vehicle and outfit.

The controls are really simple. X is to boost, the up arrow is to accelerate, the down arrow is to reverse, the right arrow is to lean forward and the left arrow is to lean back. Space bar is the jump/stunt button.

This game is simple and fun, but it does have a slight learning curve. Players may find themselves losing a few of their lives trying to learn how to control the character when he or she is in the air. If you land on your head, you lose a life and have to start at a checkpoint. You need to control the character so he or she lands upright.  Unlike other racing games, Uphill Rush 5 is a left-to-right 2D game. There are no 3D elements that allow players to see the road ahead of them. Therefore, a map is given to show players what the road ahead of them looks like.

Most Internet-based games are fairly short in gameplay. However, Uphill Rush 5 has enough levels to keep players content. There are six different cups, and each cup has three different level difficulties. There are two races per difficulty. Even after players finish each cup on every difficulty, they will find themselves going back and trying to get the best times for each map. All in all, this game is excellent. After you get a handle on the controls, it is just pure fun. Happy racing.
